What is WSET certification?
WSET stands for Wine & Spirit Education Trust .
It is an international wine education and accreditation body based in the UK, whose authority and reputation are recognized in more than 78 major countries worldwide, including Europe and the United States, as well as Australia, Japan and South Korea.

Is this certification credible?
WSET certification is regulated by the UK government department of Ofqual and is one of the most credible certificates in the UK!
Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) is an independent regulatory body in the UK responsible for overseeing and maintaining standards for qualifications and examinations, including the quality and impartiality of accreditations such as GCSE and A-level, which are frequently encountered by Macao residents studying in the UK.
It oversees the operations of examination boards and qualification providers such as AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, and regulates vocational and technical education qualifications. In some cases, Ofqual also oversees international qualifications to ensure that their recognition and implementation in the UK meet standards.
Successfully passing the WSET exam will earn you an Ofqual-certified WSET certificate and badge.

What is the most popular course?
According to official statistics from WSET, during the 2022-2023 academic year, the "Wine" course attracted 125,566 students, accounting for 88% of the total number of students, making it the most popular course.
In particular, the Level 2 course attracted 58,577 applicants, accounting for 47% of all students. Nearly half of all students chose this course, and the annual growth rate of student enrollment for this course is as high as 26%, which fully demonstrates its popularity.
