Denver Leong
During his studies in Macau, he experienced setbacks due to language barriers and insufficient learning resources, which inspired him to dedicate himself to the wine industry and use his own experiences to help others.
Since 2012, he has set a goal: to become a lecturer who can teach in Cantonese and whose knowledge level is comparable to that of the Master of Wine, helping the people of Macau overcome language barriers.
During a surprise interview with TDM at the Master of Wine event hosted by IFT in 2013, he pointed out that the teaching materials were mostly in English and hoped that the government would increase its support and attract more experts to Macau. After making preparations, he returned to Macau to establish a company focusing on wine education and improving the local learning experience.
Instructor Qualifications:
Denver is the only local student in Macau studying to become a Master of Wine. This institution is widely recognized as the "Harvard" of the wine industry, and its graduates include Jeannie Cho Lee MW, host of the TVB program "Wine Around the World," and the purchasing director of several international companies, such as M&S, which has 1,600 branches.
